Why use a genuine wood chipper wheel hub
Parts made to fit the Apache Timber Master 65 Pro go straight on without modification, so you’re not left drilling or packing out parts that are nearly the right size. Keeping blades sharp, belts in good condition and the anvil block square makes the chipper safer, quieter and much more efficient.
Worn parts make a chipper work harder. You’ll notice it bogging down, chewing branches rather than cutting them cleanly, or vibrating more than usual. That’s the time to check blades, the anvil and the drive belt.
Signs it is time to replace
- Chips are ragged or stringy rather than clean
- Branches are pulled in slowly or stall
- The engine labours on small branches
- A belt squeals, slips or shows cracks

Wood chipper wheel hub FAQs
Will this wood chipper wheel hub fit my chipper?
It’s made for the Apache Timber Master 65 Pro. If you have a different model, send us a photo and we’ll check.
How often should I replace it?
It depends on how much you chip and what species. Inspect parts at the start of each season and whenever performance drops.
Can I collect it?
Yes, collection from our Bromsgrove yard is free.
Ordering the right part
The Timber Master 65 Pro uses its own blade, anvil, belt and pulley sizes, so parts from other chippers rarely fit properly. If your chipper is a different model or you are not sure which version you have, send us a photo of the machine and its data plate and we will confirm before you order.
Keeping your chipper running well
Check blades and the anvil at the start of each season and after heavy use. Keep the engine oil topped up, clean the air filter regularly and make sure belts are correctly tensioned. Chip only clean wood, as stones, soil and nails damage blades quickly. Store the chipper under cover and run the fuel down before long breaks.
