Description
This tip run trailer is a compact 6ft x 4ft open trailer with high sides and a rear loading ramp. The high sides hold more garden waste and rubble bags, the ramp lets you wheel a barrow straight in, and the size suits small cars.

About the 6×4 Tip Run Trailer
The TRT-64 is a compact, easy-to-tow trailer designed specifically for household waste and recycling centre trips. Many UK councils permit 6ft x 4ft (1800mm x 1200mm) trailers without a permit, making this a practical and cost-effective solution — however, regulations vary and we recommend checking with your local authority before purchase.

Why this tip run trailer earns its keep
An open trailer is the workhorse of the range. It takes garden waste, timber, rubble bags, furniture and machinery without fuss, and it’s easy to clean afterwards. Apache utility trailers are galvanised, so mud, rain and road salt don’t eat into the steel the way they do with painted trailers.
The layout of sides, cage, ramp or tailgate decides what it’s best at. Cages add height for light, bulky loads such as hedge cuttings, ramps suit anything on wheels, and drop panels make it quick to rake out loose loads.
Typical jobs
- Tip runs and garden clearance
- Building materials and DIY projects
- Moving mowers, garden machinery and small plant
- Farm, stable and smallholding work

Getting the most from it
Spread heavy loads evenly and keep the weight slightly forward of the axle. A fitted cover keeps loads dry and stops waste blowing out. Check your car’s towing limit before loading up, and see the GOV.UK guide to towing with a car for licence rules.
