Why this wood chipper is worth it
Hiring a chipper every time you prune soon adds up. Owning one means you can clear branches and hedge cuttings when it suits you, and turn them into chips for mulch, paths or composting rather than paying for skips and tip runs. The petrol engine means no cables, so you can work anywhere on your land.
It’s compact enough to wheel around a garden and store in a shed or garage, and full parts support is available, including blades, belts and anvil blocks.
Good for
- Garden and orchard pruning
- Hedge cutting waste
- Clearing storm damage
- Making mulch for beds and paths
When you compare a wood chipper for sale from different sellers, check the internal size, the floor and what is included as standard.
Safety first
Always wear eye and ear protection and gloves, keep loose clothing away from the hopper and feed branches butt-end first. Never reach into the chute while the engine is running. The Health and Safety Executive publishes guidance on safe machinery use.
Buying a wood chipper for sale from a specialist means you can see it in person, ask questions and get spares later.
