Why buyers choose this box trailer
The Cube Sport 85 is built on the same recipe as the rest of the Cube range: a hot-dipped galvanised steel chassis, a galvanised floor with a phenolic board top and aluminium composite sides. That mix keeps the weight sensible for an average family car while still standing up to tools, kit and the odd careless load. The sloped nose isn’t just for looks. It reduces drag, so the trailer tows more smoothly and uses a little less fuel.
Inside, the shape matters. Box trailers with a sloped front lose height towards the hitch, so long items go along the floor and tall items sit at the back by the door or ramp. The internal heights are listed above so you can check before you buy, rather than finding out on the drive.
What people use it for
- Carrying tools and stock that need to stay dry and locked away overnight
- House moves, tip runs for bagged waste and trips to the storage unit
- Camping and festival kit, bikes and paddleboards
- Event and market stall equipment, or a small mobile workshop

Before you buy
Check your vehicle’s braked and unbraked towing limits, which you’ll find in the handbook or on the VIN plate. The trailer plus everything in it must stay under that figure. Most drivers with a full car licence can tow up to 3,500kg maximum authorised mass, and the GOV.UK guide to towing with a car explains the rules in more detail. It’s also worth measuring your driveway gate or garage door against the external height before you order.

Box trailer FAQs
Can I tow this box trailer with a normal car?
In most cases, yes. It’s an unbraked trailer, so the trailer and its load must stay within the 750kg legal limit for unbraked trailers and within your car’s own unbraked towing limit.
Is the box trailer lockable?
The rear can be secured, and we’d add a hitch lock and wheel clamp if it’s left loaded overnight. Both are available in our trailer accessories range.
Can I see the Cube Sport 85 before ordering?
Yes. Email us first and we’ll make sure one is on display at our Bromsgrove yard when you visit.
