Why this plant trailer is built for the job
Moving a mini digger, dumper or roller needs a trailer that’s braked, stable and strong. This Apache plant trailer runs on two braked axles with a heavy-duty road chassis, and the front bucket rest gives the digger’s bucket somewhere safe to sit during transit. The rear loading ramp makes tracking machines on and off straightforward.
Twin axles spread the load and keep the trailer steady at speed, and they give you a margin of safety if a tyre goes down. It’s a trailer for regular, heavy work.
Common loads
- Mini diggers and micro excavators
- Dumpers, rollers and compact plant
- Pallets of materials and heavy equipment

Legal and safety checks
Check your vehicle’s braked towing limit, then subtract the trailer’s own weight to find your real payload. Chain or strap the machine down at four points, lower the bucket into the rest and keep the load balanced over the axles. The GOV.UK guide to towing with a car covers licence rules for heavier trailers.

What size digger can the plant trailer carry?
It depends on the trailer’s payload and your vehicle’s towing limit. Check both against your machine’s operating weight, and ask us if you’re unsure.
Does the plant trailer have brakes?
