Why choose the TentBox cargo 2.0
A roof tent puts your bed off the ground, away from wet grass and uneven pitches, with a proper mattress that stays made up inside. TentBox tents are known for quick setup and practical details, and they fit on suitable roof bars or on a trailer frame such as our Apache roof tent campers.
Fitting one to a trailer rather than your car keeps the car free once you’ve set up, and you won’t need roof bars rated for a tent. All our roof tent campers have an adjustable frame that suits TentBox tents.
Good to know
- Check your roof bars and vehicle roof load ratings before fitting to a car
- A trailer setup avoids the roof load question entirely
- We can supply the tent on its own or with an Apache camper trailer

Car or trailer?
On a car, the tent stays with the car, so you’ll pack up before every trip out. On a trailer, you can leave camp set up and use the car freely. See our roof tent trailers if you’d like the trailer option, or ask us which suits you best.
For full specifications, care guides and fitting instructions, see the TentBox website.
